Robots and Astronauts Wanted

Calling all purveyors of outer space supplies: We need stuff to make aliens, robots, and astronauts for the Kid’s Day parade on Saturday May 17. We welcome various materials such as: styrofoam, dryer and other hoses, glittery items, bottle caps for buttons, white buckets for helmets, cardboard, silver colored cloth, duct tape. You’ll think of lots more. Think of us when you start spring cleaning.

Please call Peggy at King Street to arrange dropping off a donation.

Thanks!

Support the Penny Fundraiser

The children of King Street and Sara Holbrook are teaming up to raise $1,000,000 pennies to support their centers. Please join them on Saturday, April 5th, from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm at the Sara Holbrook Community Center's 3rd annual Festival of Cultures where the children will staff a drop-off booth to collect everything from loose change to giant pickle jars. So, clean out those pennies from your car seats, pockets, and attics, and help the kids meet their goal!
